HOW TO RATE?

We’re giving on your hands rating system, where you will be able to  precise photo rating, which you are watching. You can use two points per each photo you want to rate, which you can classify in two of five values:

• Artistic
• Technical
• Innovation
• Expression
• I do not like it

For your rate you can use both of available points or just one, depending which of values you want emphasize the most. If you don’t like the picture you can easily put your opinion in I DO NOT LIKE IT column, but if you do so you can use only one of your points. You can rate each photo only once. Rating is fully anonymous, neither author nor do other users can see who was rating and how.  
But you should remember that rating is a sort of comment and it is necessary to use it with caution to prove your tolerance and understanding for what other Users want to show us.

HOW TO COMMENT?

There is no restrictions when it comes to putting comments under photos, either yourself or other users. You can discuss under each Author’s photo, you can write critique, advise or put your opinion. Though you should remember about our code of practice, which clearly determine which content and behaviors are forbidden. Our service is aimed also for beginners in photography and we think you can be satisfied as experienced photographer when your comment, opinion or rate will be accepted with understanding even if it will be a critique opinion. Never rate Authors himself nor models, you can rate just photos.

HOW TO ADD A PHOTO?

Each user can add one photo in every 24 hours. We are accepting photos in jpg. form in size not smaller than 400x400 pixels and not bigger than 900x900 pixels. Any side of the photo cannot be smaller than 400 pixels. Maximum volume of photo is 300 kb.
To add the photo click at link ADD PHOTO, put all necessary information in the form, chose the category and photo you want to add and click ADD. The photo will be took on the server and automatically put in your portfolio.

YOUR PORTFOLIO

We are giving on your hands clear system of service using. You can create sub-catalogues, sending and receiving messages from other users. You will be informed about each comment and rating. Everyday you can vote for the Photo of a Day. You can edit your portfolio, including photos, descriptions, titles and sub-catalogues. To not bore you all these details, please, go straight to see all these functions. We are guarantee that you need only like five minutes to understand all these rules. But if you have any doubts, please, do not hesitate to contact us.

MODERATION

Our service is moderated. Moderators interfere only in these cases where comment or photo violate terms of service. Though we are giving also all of the users right to have one’s opinion. For this purpose by each photo you can find bin icon. If you find any photo or comment not fitting to our service you can just click on this icon. The next step is to fill the form which appears to explain the cause of moderating. The final decision about content deleting is taking by the Administrator.  

NATIONAL CORNER

This is the function, which enables you quick checking if there are any Users coming from your country. One click makes Galleries and Categories in the way which you are able to see only photos of your countrymen. In the Gallery you will have an access to all users from your country.

TOP 10

In the TOP 10 Gallery is put photos with the highest level of visiting. Their amount is counted automatically for all week from Monday 00:00 GMT to 20:00 GMT on Sunday. This is the time when the picture which was exposing the most is picking up. It will be exposed for four hours from 20:00 GMT to 00:00 GMT.

PHOTO OF A DAY

In this part all users are able to vote by clicking the icon by the photo. Your votes are counted from 00:01 GMT do 00:00 each day, and all these votes determine which photo will be exposed in the main site for all the next day as a Photo of a Day. Neither Moderators nor Administration do have bearing on the winning photo in this category.
